I bought the velour dress in this collection a couple of years ago, but kept putting off buying the skirt because I didn't really *need* it. But on a cold day in December, I found myself thinking about how perfect this skirt would have been for an outfit I was planning. My size was still available, so I ordered it a week later. I love the fabric of this; it's plush and warm, giving a feeling of luxury while also being cozy.
The dropped pointed waist is very flattering and the bell-shaped cut is pretty in a period-style way without being obviously a period piece.
I've never had to worry about the sturdiness of seams in a LFeN garment, and odd as it sounds I really like the zipper in this--it feels more substantial than most invisible zippers.
It runs a little long on 5'3" me but I like longer skirts; might be different for a taller person.
By the size chart, I'm a 2X in this, but based on my experience with the toile skirt, I went up to a 3X, and it fits great--the 2X would technically have fit but would probably have been very snug in waist and high hip.
Overall, I'm happy with this, and glad to have a pretty, period-style skirt that ALSO allows me to be warm and cozy.
(Any chance of reviving this basic style and fabric in other colors? A nightshade purple or garnet red would be GREAT.)

This is the most comfortable skirt I own, and I own a ton of skirts! The fabric is just lovely, and even though the skirt isn't tight it's quite flattering. I have the gothic tales swing version of this dress too, and it's just wonderful.

Velour is not my thing, but I saw online someone said it was warm, so I thought I would give it a try for these cold Midwestern Winters. I love it. It makes for a perfect corporate goth/office witch aesthetic, and is still comfy enough to wear all day long. I could have sized down to a medium from a large 38-29.5-44, but in this photo I have an undershirt, a Vixen Girl Gang top, a sweater, and a skirt slip all tucked into the waistband, so a large works well, and I doubt I would wear it in the summer (muggy Midwest). The pockets are large enough for my mittens and the soft fabric is insulating me well enough while in the office (currently it is 65degrees F in here and -1 outside). The length is perfect for me, it falls at my upper mid calf, a few inches below the knees, so when I wear snowboots, it brushes my legs just above the top of my boots. I feel like I could lounge in this skirt and watch movies on the floor in it with my monsters and just veg out. It's definitely a feast skirt, stretches as you pack on the calories while feasting...and yet like lounge wear, comfy enough to go walk off your gorge for miles and carry stuff in the giant pockets.
The cut is flattering, I am a poor photographer, and I have received compliments on it already. I believe it is easily dressed up or down... A tee-shirt and some All-Stars seem very street appropriate for this gal.
If you are a velour lover, I highly recommend this skirt, it will not disappoint. I love the cut so much I ordered the Katrina which is actually more my vibe.

My skirt got here quickly and it fits, I like how it hangs down over my knees and legs, it seems that it'll keep my legs warm this fall when I wear it with a black turtleneck. Thank you so much and I'll be ordering from you again in the future since I have a birthday next month!

I love Le Femme en Noir's wide selection of sizes because as a ghoul who is only 4'7 it can be hard to find elegant and spooky attire that fits perfectly. I bought the XS skirt and it fits perfectly in the waist and is ankle length which is how I like my skirts to fit. The velvet is soft and feels so nice, plus there are pockets! Deep pockets!

This skirt is absolute elegance. Some stretch even in the waistband. The yoke is timeless and I love the length.

Lovely skirt! Fits true to size. I love the feel of the fabric. Looks amazing with all their tops tucked in. I love the length too. It looks cute with tall boots or sandals. I love Le Femme and am amassing a collection of the clothes.

This skirt is so under rated! You can easily size down
